1 Nephi Chapter 6 - What's is and isn't in here

I thought it was great timing that I reached Chapter 6 which is only six verses long with Nephi laying out what we are and aren't going to see in his writings. After only five posts on this blog I was pondering what I'm writing (what would be contained in this record of the Book of Mormon) and how that compares to what I thought I might write. As you may be picking up...my posts seem to be centered around my impressions, thoughts, ideas, and questions that I have while reading the chapter. I think I intended to also provide possible answers to the questions I raise, but I haven't don't much of that so far. I think a part of me hopes that I will expand through the course of this process adding more cross references, insight from others, and potential answers to my questions. That being said, I welcome comments and thoughts on what I have written as well as new thoughts, impressions, and questions.
